My 1978 Midget was found completely disassembled in a local barn. The owner had stored it for many years wanting to rebuild it but his interest had turned to "Italian cars" so he decided to sell it. Thus began my adventure in carefully putting it back together. While not concur status it is solid and in good shape. I've added enhancements including dual SU carbs and a clutch-less water pump to begin mimicking the British version of the 1500 Midget plus have added improves like a 13 row oil cooler and an oil feed kit to improve the know weakness of the 1500 motor. An electronic ignition was added for enhanced reliability plus both the front and rear suspension have been rebuilt. The body which was yellow originally but had been painted again in the same color but had major peeling, etc was striped, primed and repainted Dark British Racing Green.  Car has about 62,000 miles on it.
